Surveys and Valuations
Building surveys (previously called full structural surveys) are provided
on a prompt basis. Normally the client receives an oral report on the day
or evening of the inspection and the report is typed overnight in New Zealand
so that the client recieves a draft report by email at about 8am the following
morning. Valuations for purchases, mortgages, probate, Capital Gains Tax
and other purposes are regularly undertaken.
All work undertaken is in accordance with practice statements and guidance notes issued by the Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors. The firm is registered on the panel of recommended surveyors/valuers
of various financial and other well-known institutions, and advice can be given to any prospective purchaser
wishing to check on such matters first.
For fee quotations, please contact Helen Power. Clients can speak to the Surveyor before or after
inspection and report if they wish.
Survey and valuation advice is also provided for commercial, investment and special use properties,
with or without unusual factors to be considered, and for different purpose, ie, taxation, litigation,
valuations of shared/part interests, retrospective valuation dates, company audit purposes, etc.
For further information, please contact Sheila Macisaac or Barbara Cook.
